CALL FOR ABSTRACTS!

The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations at our Thirteenth Annual Pharmacology Conference that will be held in Bismarck, ND, on September 23-24, 2021. 

Abstract Guidelines

NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS!

The NDNPA is now accepting scholarship applications for 2 separate scholarship opportunities for NP students in North Dakota.

  1. A $1000 scholarship will be awarded to two residents of North Dakota pursuing a graduate degree with a nurse practitioner focus. (NDNPA mission: to extend its mission of promoting quality healthcare in North Dakota by support, advocacy, leadership, and continued education of nurse practitioners.)
  2. A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to one resident of North Dakota pursuing a graduate degree with a nurse practitioner focus to cover the cost of attending the 2022 AANP Health Policy Conference in Washington, DC in Spring 2022. (NDNPA mission: to promote quality health care in North Dakota to further enhance the participation of nurse practitioners in the legislative and public policy process.)

CONSIDER APPLYING FOR OPEN NDNPA BOARD POSITIONS!

The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association is comprised of a president, president elect, secretary, treasurer, and 3 members at large. All members are elected by the membership of the NDNPA in attendance at the annual business meeting, held prior to/in conjunction with the Pharmacology conference in September each year. All officers serve 2-year terms with no more than 2 consecutive terms in the same office. New members take office at the close of the annual business meeting.

Open positions for the 2021-2023 term include:

  1. President Elect/Vice President
  2. Treasurer
  3. Director of Public Relations
  4. Member at large (2 open)

Please email the NDNPA Secretary with your information and request to be added to the ballot no later than August 15, 2021.
