The facility is equipped with Allscripts AEHR electronic medical record system and provides comprehensive support staff including primary care providers, triage nurses, and CNAs to ensure efficient patient care.

Opportunity: BLS,DEA - Walk-In Clinic Physician Assistant

Job Details:

• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Diagnose and treat patients within established protocol guidelines
• Perform physical examinations and minor procedures as necessary
• Order diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications
• Provide patient education and counseling to promote positive lifestyle habits
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of patient visits
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Make follow-up calls to check on patients' progress
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Consult with colleagues regarding patient symptoms when needed
• Patient volume varies up to 40 patients per day depending on complexity
• Cases typically include acute illness visits such as cough, cold, minor injuries, STD testing, UTIs, and rashes
• Required procedures include sensitive examinations and minor procedures (incision and drainage, sutures, etc.)
